My BABY is TWO!

Saturday was Benjamin's birthday! He is two already! Wow it goes fast. We had a fun birthday party for him on Friday night. Kelly, Jackie, Josh, Grandma and Grandpa joined us. We went to my parents house and had a barbecue, followed by presents then cake and ice cream. After it got dark, we had a fire in the back yard and roasted marshmallows. Finally we told scary or silly stories (depending on who was doing the telling) by the fire. The kids even did a little star gazing with grandma. A very successful evening.

Now that Benjamin is two, it is officially ok for him to throw temper tantrums and be sassy. At least I think that is what is going through his mind. Luckily for me, he is as cute as he is naughty so it is hard to stay mad at him.

Oh and he has an amusing new game he likes to play. Whenever he is scolded by an adult, he promptly walks over to a different adult to "tattle"on them. For example, he got up on the counter yesterday and ate a cupcake without asking. Alan caught him and took it away. He cried and walked into the room where I was to tell me that Daddy took away his cake.
But it is the way he said it that is funny. He told me like Alan had done something really bad and naughty and should get in trouble for it. Like he was "tattleing" on Kimberly. It doesn't have to be Alan and I either. If he gets in trouble by Grandpa, he'll go tell Aunt Kelly, etc..... It's like he keeps expecting the adult he "tattles" to, to put the one he "tattles" on in time-out or something!
