The Holidays!

Here they are in a nutshell since it is already February!

CHRISTMAS was good.  It was pretty low key.  The kids got some fun stuff and Alan got to take a few days off.  His "baby leave"  extended into "Christmas leave" and including the weekends he ended up with 12 days off.  It was good to have his help.  And it was nice to spend Christmas with Nicholas out of my belly instead of in it! Kimberly & Benjamin got to sleep out under the Christmas tree all night.  They were hoping to catch the big guy but had no luck.  In fact they didn't even stir as Santa made a bunch of racket getting presents set up and put out......Lucky Santa! Alan and I continued the tradition of watching White Christmas while waiting for the kids to fall asleep.  Santa brought Kimberly a camera, Benjamin a crossbow and Zachary a scooter.

NEW YEARS was also low key.  NYE was spent at our house with us, Kelly, Matthew and Daniel.  Josh, Josh & Jackie were at a party for the evening but taking babies out all night to a party would have been a nightmare, so Kelly brought them to our house to hang out.  We ate the usual dinner of finger food and snacks and played board games all night.  Kimberly was the only child who managed to stay up until Midnight.

ROBIN'S BIRTHDAY - I know this one doesn't really count as the Holidays but since it hasn't been covered yet, I'll throw it in.  I turned a whopping 33 years old last week.  Alan and I went out on a date on the Saturday before to dinner and a movie.  He and Jeff were going to install our garage door opener for my birthday present but Jeff ended up having to work, so it hasn't been done yet.  Brian and Callie are here visiting right now so we will see if it still happens in the next few days.

We blessed Nicholas this weekend, but that event merits it's own post so hopefully I will get some pix of that up in the next day or two!
