Kimberly and Benjamin play so well together. I wish I had something that took good video because it is soooo funny to hear the laugh track of these two playing. She giggles and he laughs then she laughs harder, then he laughs harder and so on.
Kimberly says the most random things that sound so grown up. We were in Savers the other day buying me a pair of Sunday shoes and we were at the register checking out. The money drawer came open and she pointed and said "Mommy look! He has 400 dollars!" Kimberly got a jump rope for Christmas because she kept taking this bungee cord and flinging it around in front of her face (it was way to short to jump over) and telling me that she was jumping rope. So now she jumps up and down flinging the jump rope in front of her face (she has no clue that she isn't actually jumping over the rope) and she counts her jumps. But instead of starting at 1 and going up she picks some random number way high up and skips around. Example: "Mommy I'm jumping! 64, 65, 64, 64, 58, 63........ I'm not even sure how she knows these numbers because I never count that high with her.
Benjamin is a smart little whip. He as recently discovered that it is funny to torture his sister. We were on a walk the other day and they were sitting next to each other in the stroller. Kimberly was eating chips in front of him and he was none too happy that she wasn't sharing. So he started grabbing them. Each time he would grab for one she would scream and then he would laugh. So I moved the chips. But this didn't resolve the problem. When there were no more chips to grab he decided to grab her hand and try to put it in his mouth. Each time he would grab her hand she would snatch it away and scream with annoyance and he would laugh with glee. It isn't just the laughing that was funny, it was the way he laughed. It was very taunting. You could tell he enjoyed watching her squirm.
Benjamin is very close to crawling. I am waiting for him to take off any day now. Kimberly better watch out. Once he is mobile, the torture possibilities are endless!
