I'm sure that most of you are thinking by the title that I must have won the lottery or something. Not quite but almost as good. My news must be good to warrant an entire post! Are you ready? Here goes......
I won my first Board Game today! Alan and I play all the time with Kelly and Josh. We don't play your standard Monopoly type games. They have all these intricate, expensive, takes forever to learn and play kind of board games. Then they have a bunch of games that are card games. Not face card or number card games like Uno or Phase 10, but like the crazy difficult board games we play only on cards.
Anyway, I have never won a game we have played together. Not only do I never win, but I never even come close. In fact I usually come in last. A lot of times it is just plain bad luck too. But tonight we were playing a card-board game and I WON!!! BY A LOT!!! Many of you may think that my elation over this may be a bit overboard, but If you could be there when we play, you would understand.
Winning tonight made my week, maybe even my month! Maybe someday I will win an actual board-board game!!!

Congrats! Jon was on a 6 months winning streak for out games, and when I finally won Iw as sooooo excited! What game were you playing?

You guys sound like our kind of gamers. We own 50 billion of those strategy, take-forever-to-play-games that you can only buy online or at expensive game stores. I'm proud of you for hanging in there and kicking some trash. You go, girl. Wish we could've been there to see the victory!
