We Believe.........

Kimberly came home from Sunbeams on Sunday having accomplished what I would consider a very impressive task. She can recite the First Article of Faith! Maybe that is something that all 3 year-olds can do, but I'm going to assume it isn't so that I can go on believing that my child is extra intelligent. It is the cutest thing. She also bears her testimony. She likes to do it in the "phone" (microphone) in the primary room after all the kids have gone home. She also practices bearing her testimony at home. But since we don't have a phone on a podium she stands at the sink in the bathroom and watches herself in the mirror as she speaks into the handle of the faucet. :)

We went to tithing settlement a few weeks ago. I am always surprised at how much money we made that year and baffled by where it all went. We did surprisingly well for Alan being out of work the majority of 2009. I'm sure that this year it will all go to Pure Fitness. That's right! I joined a gym. Unfortunately there aren't really any places to work out in Maricopa so I have to drive into town to do it. This is kinda crummy since it costs an arm and a leg in gas money to go into town daily. Especially when Alan is already going into town for work. But I have to do it. I got two personal training sessions when I joined and had the second one this morning. The trainer kicked my butt! I think I would much rather be on the trainer side that the trainee side. This was the first time I have ever worked with a trainer and I now understand why all of my old clients thought I was Satan! I almost lost my breakfast!

Oh, also my cute neighbor Ani is going to meet with the Missionaries this Thursday. I had her come to dinner a while back when the missionaries were over. Alan wasn't home and I needed a few extra adult bodies in the house. We didn't talk about anything religious but she came with us the next week to see the lights at the Temple. They followed up with her the next week and gave her a Book of Mormon. She told me she had been reading it and had some questions so she called and made an appointment and asked if I wanted to come. I don't know if it will be a discussion or more of a Q&A but either way I am very excited!
