Two Words - I"M LAZY!!!

That's it, that's my only excuse for months between posts. Before I start, let me introduce this post's pictures (and these are mostly for the benefit of Laura because I keep promising........), they are: my living room, my kitchen and one wall of my office. I have been stalling, hoping that I could get the rooms fully decorated before I took pictures. But alas, that may never happen. No $ = bare walls!

Soooooo, too much has happened since my last post to catch up. Here are the bare minimums. Family Reunion in UT/WY: Awesome! Kids loved it. Youth Conference: Awesome, we loved it! Got my Real Estate License: Fhewww, I did it! School Started: finally some cash flow! Kelly and Josh moved in to their new house: It's beautiful, they love it!

Other minor things. 1. Went to the science museum, it was way fun! That is what some of the side bar pictures are from. 2. Got the world's largest cold sore on my chin! It has been 2 1/2 weeks and it is only now starting to heal. Guess we all have herpes you idiots! HEHE..... only a select few will get that reference. 3. Still haven't cleaned my bathroom. That must be a new record for me. :(

I'm not complaining but how come expensive things only happen when you don't have any $? Tonight I blew out a tire. But we will definately need 2 new tires (at least) + tire rotation + allignment + a new lug and nut. And I've been so good this month. I've been working hard at my calling, paid tithing and fast offerings, done some service, been to the temple twice, made up for last months inconsistent scripture reading and actually visited all the sisters on my visiting teaching route. Maybe they'll be giving out free tires at Big O tomorrow! :) Keep your fingers crossed.

So I thought that getting the schooling and testing done would be the hard part about being a Realtor. Boy was I wrong. That was like a walk in the park compared to getting clients. I'm just not the "drop my business in every conversation" kind of person. My bosses told me to pass out business cards at church which they don't understand would be a major faux paus. Or send out an email to everyone I know, which again is people at church. Last I checked, stealing a copy of the ward email list and using it for business purposes isn't kosher either. Well, if anyone reading this knows someone who wants to buy a house in the greater Phoenix area, give them my name and number.

We are going to L.A. this weekend for my niece Alyssa's birthday (courtesy of my parents). Unfortunately we won't escape the heat. Apparently it has been 100+ degrees there the past week. Granted that is better than 110+, but honestly, will the heat never end? It doesn't even cool down at night. It will still be 100 degrees at 10PM. UGH! At least in L.A. we'll have the Beach!

Yay, good to hear from you again!

One thing I heard from my coworker here is that their real estate agent had sent out an email to all the school teachers in his wife's district (she's a teacher). She gave them "a coupon" in the email telling them that if they were looking to buy she would sell their house for free if they would only buy with her.

THe house looks great. I could use your help in our new house with colors and decorating. Tim and I realized we have enough furniture for one of our three rooms. Oops! So, yeah, we will have some bare "play rooms" for a while.

Congrats on the real estate thing.

As for tire rotation - a lot of people do them for free. Check the websites and they often have coupons for free rotations without having to purchase anything. Therefore, every other oil change, get your tires roated for free. Granted, it normally costs a whopping $4, but $4 is a lot when you have a little!

Herpes...I love it.

The house I LOVE. B was way impressed too. Seriously if/when we find one you'll have to come help with making things not just neutral because you know that's what I'll do, and then you'll never visit us because our house will be too boring.

Thanks for the pictures, I've been holding my breath for them. It looks like a model home. You are so talented! Good job.

As far as being lazy, uh, you have two kids and got your real estate license? And I saw no diapers on the floor. Pretty much not lazy in my book.
