I am at the high school right now working as a substitute. However, I am in the computer lab and there are no lesson plans or anything. I am basically just sitting here and making sure that kids stay off of sites like the one I'm on right now. I thought that I would sum up this year.
Alan gets a job, we buy a house. Alan looses his job, we loose the house. Alan gets un-laid off, we put an offer on a new house. We never hear back from the sketchy listing agents using our offer as leverage for better offers. We pull out and put an offer on the original house. 2 days before we are supposed to close the mortage company calls and says they have lost all of our paperwork. I get PISSED. Closing day likely comes and goes and we are still in my mom's basement.
Ok, so more than that has happend this year, but that feels like the only thing. You know how the third time is supposed to be the charm? Well we are on our third house and it is more like the pain in my @#$! I am so upset and they don't give me enough space to vent on this blog the way I would need to so that I could even begin to feel better.
On the plus side, my babies are cute and getting soooo big! Benjamin is now 10 months. No walking yet, but he pulls himself up on everything and walks aroud the furniture. Callie and Brian came to visit last month. It was so good to see them. Alan is getting a little homesick finally. It will be exciting to see all the Daniels clan at the reunion this summer. You know, when we lived in utah, going on vacation to wyoming didn't seem that great. But now that we are in arizona, I am pretty excited. Being able to escape the Arizona summer even for a week will be really nice.
Oh, for those who don't know, I'm still in the Relief Society Presidency, but Alan just got a new calling. He is pulling double duty as a sunday school teacher and ....................................................
the new Scout Master! At first he wasn't very excited, but now I think he is more in to the idea. I am sure that he will do a good job which is why they called him.
Sorry there are no pictures. I'll get some up soon. I have a really cute one of Benjamin getting into the refridgerator! He just crawls right up in there. If you even have it open for a second, he is in it. He is really fast and very sneaky.
Oh, FYI Kelly and Josh (my sister) decided to move out here in May! Yea! I'm so excited. So is Kimberly. They are going to take our place in the basment.......IF WE EVER GET OUT! This summer will be so fun now!
Brilliant thought.......for anyone who hasn't given up reading this incredibly long and boring post: maybe I should update the blog more often? You think? Then I could write less and more people will be willing to read it until the end? Yeah that's a good idea. If you would like to place a wager on whether or not that will actually happen, drop me a line. Let's bet!

Hehe...Alan is the Scoutmaster :) I think that was the calling that scared me the most. When I finally did tell Laura that that was my most dreaded calling it didn't take long for the new bishop to make the call :P
Robin your comments on my blog we're great. You had both Brian and I laughing! OF COURSE YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR BLOG MORE! I love hearing your stories and I need to hear more about the mortgage company losing your paperwork...I can't believe that. What idiots!
I give you three more months to post another one. By then the callings will have changed, Benjamin will be walking and you will be full-time teaching. Oh, and out of your mom's basement but crazy busy! That is my wager.
