Mommy, I want to be a plumber when I grow up!

I know it has been a while, but I'm not a slacker I swear. Our lives are just extremely boring! The other day I went shopping and got a toilet plunger. After we got home from the store, I was in the kitchen putting away the groceries and Kimberly started calling to me from the other room, "Mommy, Hat!" I walked out and she was holding the new plunger in one hand while putting the cup from her potty chair on her head with the other. It was quite priceless. Luckily neither the plunger nor the potty chair had been used yet. The new pictures on the side are from my birthday. Daddy and Kimberly made a surprise birthday cake for me while I was gone at practice. Kimberly got to help put on the sprinkles and the candles. She was very excited about that. But I think that she was more excited to eat the cake. As some of you know, I have decided to try my hand at doing some local acting. I have signed with an agency and have been taking some coaching. It has actually been really fun. I went on my first audition last week. It was for a student film. No money, but hey, since I have about......zero.......experience, anything would be helpful for my resume. I didn't expect anything to come of it since it was my first audition, but the director called me last night and I have a call-back audition tonight. I am pretty excited. We are finally getting a new computer. We are having one built for us. We have only ever had hand me downs and while we appreciate the free-bees, they haven't exactly served us very well. Maybe someday we will get the internet too! Alan is really enjoying his new job. He is a quick study with the new computer programs. He is quickly finding out though that there is a lot he needs to learn. He was going on a field trip this morning to the printer's shop for a crash course in printing. Alan is also enjoying his new calling though he is very frustrated that his quorum only has 20% home teaching rate. He is very excited because over easter weekend is our stake conference and Elder Holland is coming to all 3 sessions. I am excited to hear an apostle too, but he seems more excited than he did for Christmas. That is why I married him. He is way too good for me!

Awe, I love the last line. You guys are cute. I love it when the little ones decide to use other objects as apparel. Thank goodness everything she was playing with wasn't used!
